Heather
O’Neill was born June 5, 1982 in County Kerry, Ireland.
She moved to the States at the age of four. she lived in
and around the Chicagoland area in her formative years.
At eighteen she moved to New York City to study film. She
became a regular at jazz clubs, ultimately changing her
medium. Upon returning to Chicago, Heather took some poetry
classes. This became the material featured on Back There.

Pain, humor, and understanding fuse her
words which are met by a thumb and finger picking guitar
style truly unique to Heather. It’s a lyrical and musical
patchwork that is sure to draw in any listener. She
has just wrapped a summer tour which breezed through
Colorado, Arizona, California, Minnesota, Iowa, and
New York. Currently she is dishing out new material
for her second record that fans are calling
“provocative blues ”. |
